Create a beautiful, lasting memory with your personal t-shirts. You will need 2 pre-selected t-shirts for this project. You will learn the technique for preparing your t-shirts and adding sashing. Once you have the basics, you can add as many or few t-shirts as you would like. While you'll only be completing 2 t-shirts in class, Becky is available in the shop on Wednesday's and Thursday's (and some Saturday's) to answer questions and/or help you with your ideas.
This is not a beginner sewing project - you should have good basic sewing skills using a sewing machine.
Learn techniques to prepare your t-shirts for your quilt (properly stabilize), plan a layout, select fabrics for your quilt, cut and sew your sashings, and putting it all together and adding the border. You will learn about adding the backing, quilting options, labels and making the binding.
For homework between weeks you will need to complete the steps learned in class to be ready for the next session.
